INTERNATIONAL CHEESE AND DAIRY AWARDS LAUNCH 2021 AWARDS AND ANNOUNCE NEW CONSUMER BRAND

Steve Moncrieff • Jul 21, 2021

Sandon Hall, Stafford hosted the launch of this year’s awards and the new consumer focussed brand Love Cheese Live.

Chairman Ian Luxton announced changes to this year’s event on the 21 October including the new venue Staffordshire Show Ground, Stafford, the addition of a Supreme Champion Trophy for Best Dairy Product and the launch of The Cheese Board Awards with 50 classes that cover everything that goes with cheese.

Director, Chris Chisnall then announced the new consumer brand Love Cheese Live developed to educate consumers on taste, quality and range of cheese and food products.  This also included the line-up of leading chefs James Martin, Marco Pierre White, Michel Roux Jr and Matt Tebbutt.  The event takes place on 22 and 23 October and will have over 400 trade stands, four cooking demo areas, children’s cookery school and other exciting attractions.

Commenting on the evening, Strategy Director Steve Moncrieff said:  With the cancellation of last year’s event this has given us time to look at the current format and the opportunities to work with retailer and key sponsors to develop a platform to secure the show’s future success and make it relevant to both trade and consumer audiences.  We are currently working on the next phase of the development and plan to have more announcements in the run-up to the event.
