Midlands Air Ambulance Charity proudly covers six Midlands counties, including Staffordshire. We rapidly bring advanced clinical skills, enhanced medicines and hospital-level equipment to those critically ill or injured, giving them the best possible chance of survival and recovery. Since 1991, we have undertaken more than 70,000 missions via one of our three air ambulances and three critical care cars. We are dispatched to assist 12 people every day and the main reasons for call outs include road traffic collisions, cardiac-related emergencies, falls, sporting injuries including equestrian incidents and stabbings.

We do not receive Government or NHS funding for our daily missions and each air ambulance mission costs £2,950, while each critical care car mission costs £288. We rely on the generosity of local businesses and the communities we serve.
